The current registered update snapshot

The Broodwing latest update material collected on November 1, 2026 includes Realistics Studios' official 10K Members Update announcement. It describes Golden Eagles and Canada Geese as already added, expands cliff nesting, and introduces new appearance offers. Those changes give returning players more useful detail than the [BarnOwl] Broodwing title alone, which remained the official experience label in the same day's snapshot.

This guide covers the captured developer announcement and separates it from an earlier player account of the Barn Owl update. The collection date is not an invented release date for every feature.

New birds and cliff nesting

The official announcement says Golden Eagles and Canada Geese are now in Broodwing. They should therefore be treated as added birds in this version, not predictions about a future release.

Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, and Ravens can nest on cliff ledges in the mountains. The developer names four places to look for cliffs:

  • The North Falls gorge
  • Great Canyon
  • Raven Gorge
  • Kestrel Gorge

These are announced location names, not measured coordinates or a ranking of the safest ledges. Use them as search areas when exploring the new nesting options.

Raven skins and the Eagle pass inclusion

The update lists White Raven for 1,000 Plumes and Piebald Raven as free for group members. It also says Leucistic Golden Eagle is included with the Leucistic Bald Eagle gamepass.

That last detail is a specific inclusion, not a general rule that every appearance for two species shares a purchase. Check the current official offer if you are deciding whether to buy the pass.

Ravens can also swim according to the announcement. The developer warns that their feathers soak through and tells players to return to land quickly, so this is not a promise of unlimited safe time in the water.

Owl changes and earlier map features

The 10K announcement says Barn Owls can attack Ravens while flying, rather than only on the ground. It also says geese can no longer squeeze into Barn Owl hollows.

Congo's earlier Barn Owl-update player account describes additional systems: a map opened with M or a map button, family name tags, and invitations for a guardian or baby. Those are useful community-reported background features, but they should not be presented as newly introduced by the 10K announcement itself.

The announced celebration code

The captured developer post announces 10kmembers for 1,000 Plumes. This is an official announcement, not a claim that the code was redeemed in a personal test for this guide or that it will remain valid indefinitely.

For later changes, check the official Realistics Studios community announcements and the official Broodwing experience. The captured post's final drinking-animation sentence is incomplete, so this guide does not expand it into additional mechanics.
